2024 MCSL Individual All-Stars Championship Meet
Rockville - Outdoor Pool

Please check it frequently!*** Date, Location & ScheduleThe meet will be held the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane, on Sunday, July 28th. Warm-ups will begin at 7:00 am and the first Event will start at 8:00 am. There is no rain date for this meet. The entire pool will be available for general warm-up but only lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 of the Competition area will be available for Starts and Sprints. The warm-up schedule is as follows:
Lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 will be used for Starts and Sprints throughout the Warm-up session. All other lanes will be available for General Warm-up. All swimmers must enter the pool at the Start End only. With the exception of the Start and & Sprint lanes, all swimmers must enter the pool feet first. Continuous warm-up will be available throughout the meet at the far end of the pool (non-Competition area) but no Starts will be allowed during continuous warm-up. Feet first entry only! There will be NO other pools at the Center available for warm-up. Map/Meet Layout for parking, team areas, spectator areas, Bag Tag pick-up, Awards pick-up, Officials/Volunteer sign-in and Heat Staging area. Scratch Deadline and ProcedureIf a swimmer, based on previous time rankings, expects they will be seeded in the meet and they either (1) do not plan on participating in the meet or (2) do not want to swim a particular event, they should scratch from the events they do not want to swim. Scratches from individual events in this meet will not be accepted after 9:00 pm on Monday, July 22nd and must be submitted utilizing the MCSL Online Scratch process. In the event that a swimmer needs to scratch the full meet after the scratch deadline, email [email protected]. Swimmer Check-in ProceduresAll swimmers, including alternates, should report to the start area no later than two events prior to the time their event is scheduled to be swum. Alternates should check in with the start area chief judge. If an empty lane is available, the first or second alternate will be placed into the empty lane(s). Swimmers who do not check in with the start area chief judge may not be seeded into an empty lane. DO NOT simply report to a lane you know or believe to be open. Only the Deck Referee will place alternates in an event. If there are empty lanes and no alternates present at the start of the event, the lanes will not be filled. Use of Towels for StartsTowels are permitted to be used for both forward and backstroke starts. OfficialsThe Competiton Committee will be selecting MCSL Certified Officials to work this meet. Timers and Other Volunteers - Sign Up HereFor all parents and coaches able to serve as Head Timer, Assistant Head Timer, Lane Timer or Marshal during the meet, please sign up using the following link - MCSL SignUp Genius. Preliminary and Final SeedingsPreliminary Individual All Star Seedings will be posted in advance of the meet with Final Seeding’s posted by the Thursday before the Meet. We will not be providing programs on site - you will need to print them before the meet. Meet T-ShirtsMeet T–Shirts for this event may be ordered in advance of the meet through Capital Sport & Swim (a link will be posted here when available). T-Shirts may be picked-up by a team Representative or coach at the Capital Sport & Swim tent during the meet. Bag TagsSwimmers will be provided Bag Tags for this event. Each team's bag tags may be picked up, by a team Representative or coach, behind the Officials table. ParkingEntrance to the Center's parking lot is only through the easternmost (indoor pool) driveway and the exit is through the westernmost (outdoor pool) driveway. A fee of $2.00 is charged for parking in the Center’s lot. You may drop someone off without paying the fee but you cannot park in the lot and must exit after dropping off. If you choose to park in the Center's lot only park in defined spaces. Do not make your own parking space. If you do not park in the Center's lot you may park on Martins Lane, the Rock Terrace School parking lot (do not park on their fields or grass) or in the Board of Education parking lot off of Mannakee Street. Do not park on the baseball field across the street from the Center or on side streets as this will likely result in you receiving a City of Rockville parking ticket. MCSL Relay All-Stars Championship Meet

Please check it frequently!*** Date, Location & ScheduleThe MCSL All-Star Relay Meet will be held in two separate sessions at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane, on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Section I (Divisions A through H) will begin at 7:00 a.m. and Section II (Divisions I through O) will begin at 10:00 a.m. The facility will open at 6:00 a.m. There is no rain date for this meet. The entire pool will be available for general warm-up but only lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 of the Competition area will be available for Starts and Sprints. All swimmers must enter the pool at the Start End only. The warm-up schedule for each Section is listed below: Section I6:30 am through 6:55 am - General Warm-up & Lanes 2, 3, 6 & 7 open for Starts and Sprints Section II9:30 am through 9:55 am - General Warm-up & Lanes 2, 3, 6 & 7 open for Starts and Sprints With the exception of the Start & Sprint lanes, all swimmers must enter the pool feet first.
