2022 MCSL Individual All-Stars Championship Meet
Rockville - Outdoor Pool
Warm-up: 7:00 AM
Most current meet information is available here Date, Location & Schedule The meet will be held at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center on Sunday, July 31st. Warm-ups will begin at 7:00 am and the first Event will start at 8:00 am. The facility will open at 6:30 am. If the meet is postponed or suspended due to inclement weather the meet will resume on August 1st at the same time. The entire pool will be available for general warm-up but only lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 of the Competition area will be available for Starts and Sprints. The warm-up schedule is as follows: Time Age Groups 7:00 thru 7:20 - 12 & Under 7:20 thru 7:40 - 13 & Over 7:40 thru 7:50 - All Ages - Late Warm-up Lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 will be used for Starts and Sprints throughout the Warm-up session. All other lanes will be available for General Warm-up. All swimmers must enter the pool at the Start End only. With the exception of the Start and & Sprint lanes, all swimmers must enter the pool feet first. Continuous warm-up will be available throughout the meet at the far end of the pool (non-Competition area) but no Starts will be allowed during continuous warm-up. Feet first entry only! There will be NO other pools at the Center available for warm-up. Map/Meet Layout for parking, team areas, spectator areas, Bag Tag pick-up, Awards pick-up, Officials/Volunteer sign-in and Clerk of Course/Heat Staging area. T-Shirt Orders: Please use the Google Form to order MCSL All-Star Relay or MCSL All-Star Individual t-shirts. Each shirt is $20.00. Include your email address and name with your order. Section I (Divisions A thru H) will begin at 7:00 am and Section II (Divisions I thru O) will begin at 10:00 am. The facility will open at 6:00 am. The entire pool will be available for general warm-up but only lanes 2, 3, 6 and 7 of the Competition area will be available for Starts and Sprints. The All Star Officials/Volunteers Coordinator for each Division will be soliciting volunteers to work as Officials (Referee, Starter and Stroke & Turn Judges) as well Timers/Take-Off Judges/Marshals. Rockville Rays: Shadowland Laser Tag Outing

Who: Rockville Rays. The facility is closed to outside players except for our group. Our swimmers are known to do very well in the water. Now it is time to see how well they will do on their dry land skill. Come and join us to have lots of fun before the end of the season. Don't Miss this opportunity. Space is limited. Family Relay Night: Parents and/or siblings within a family will form a relay team and will compete against other families. We will have the following 3 events:
If your family does not have an even 4 people, you can combine with another family unit (i.e. swimmer A + swimmer A's mom + swimmer B + swimmer B's mom), or "adopt" a swimmer with no siblings/swimmer parents. These combinations can either be organized by yourself, or I can facilitate them too! What I need from you if you'd like to participate: please tell me how many family members will be participating and which one or two of the 3 events you'd like to enter! If your swimmer is available to be "adopted" into a family relay, please let me know too! ***RESCHEDULED DATE*** Most current information is available here on the MCSL website. Due to inclement weather on July 12, the Coaches Long Course meet has been rescheduled. Thank you for the RSFC leadership for accommodating this change. We are hopeful that the weather will cooperate for our backup date. Print your own copy of the meet program (will be updated as scratches are processed) and bring it with you: copies will NOT be available at the meet. Date, Location & Schedule The rescheduled MCSL Coaches Invitational Long Course Meet will be held at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center on Tuesday, July 19th. The meet will begin at 6:30 pm and the facility will be opened at 5:00 pm. The warm-up schedule is listed below:
There will be no halftime break. Instead, we have three lanes for continuous warm-up/warm-down in the upper pool. These lanes will open after the warmup period in the competition pool has concluded. Swimmers may only warm-up in the Competition Pool during the designated warm-up period. |
